Feel the beat of collaborative innovation

In response to Europe’s societal challenges, many ‘innovative’ approaches to innovation are emerging. They are called responsible research and innovation, open innovation or sometimes participatory science. They share the desire to better connect citizens and technologies by allowing them to engage and collaborate with industry and researchers to put their needs, concerns and expectations at the heart of the process.

The SocKETs project, which created this exhibition, is part of this global movement. Its goal is to engage society with technological development and societal
challenges around three areas of application:

Circular economy

E-Health

Industrial automation

Bringing together 10 European partners, they worked to design co-creation methods and tools to align the development of innovations based on KETs with societal values and needs.
