The “World Cafe” method provides an opportunity to talk about important public issues and examine the issues in depth applying the listed principles. Attendees are divided into groups and for 20 minutes discuss the assigned topic. The groups are rotated every 20 minutes, with each new location providing a new topic until they have made a full cycle of rotations. The moderator, at the end reports to the audience the main conclusions, recommendations and innovative ideas that have been reached.

It will be good to have an online platform replacing the general practitioner, thus time and stress will be saved and access to specialists facilitated. The app could fill in personal data, register symptoms, forward us to a specialist, thus avoiding the visit in person to the GP. Patients organizations will be interested in this app. Doctors and patients should undergo a digital medical training.

DHI cluster Bulgaria presents “Digital transformation of medical services: sustainable and efficient healthcare system based on data and technologies”.

I would like to see developed a system that allows for myself to personally dispose of my medical electronic dossier, to be able to decide with whom I want to share it. Bulgaria needs a unified register for donorship, where all hospitals nationwide can have access to. The donor could offer blood in every town - efficiently, time saving. Hospitals and Patients organizations will benefit the most.

What is the vignette method?

The Vignette method is the elaboration of a future scenario about a technological application with an open end by following a set of rules.

It is an exercise that entails exploring unanticipated societal problems of eHealth. The aim is to stimulate thinking about future challenges of the technologies and how to tackle them by engaging societal attention. You can reflect on the feasibility, the social impact, are there benefits or not for society?

A competent training for patients, medical staff and hospitals is needed about what eHealth or digital transformation in medicine are. Direct users will be citizen, patients, medical staff. I would engage my users or supporters to suggest a questionnaire for the amount of information and what the product will include. I would start first with competent associates and a communication network.

When could you use the "Create a persona method"?

As archetypes, personas do not represent singular users but are representatives of a group of users that share similar behaviors, goals, and needs.

A persona is a model that plays the role of a typical representative of a member of the ecosystem.

In our workshop the persona method was used to replace missing actors in the ecosystem: from the fields of education, medical system, business, administration and obtain the persona points of view.
